AttorneyChiro ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses our platform — attorneys, chiropractic clinics, and their patients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
By accessing or using AttorneyChiro, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Account Information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, practice or firm name, phone number, and practice type.
Patient Referral Data. Attorneys and clinic staff may upload or enter protected health information (PHI) related to patient referrals. This is handled in accordance with HIPAA regulations and our Business Associate Agreements (BAAs).
Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you use the platform, including log data, IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited.
Communications. If you contact us via email or our contact form, we retain those communications to help resolve issues.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use patient data for advertising purposes.
AttorneyChiro is designed to operate as a HIPAA-compliant platform. We maintain Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all covered entity partners. PHI is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access to PHI is restricted to authorized users through role-based access controls.
If you are a covered entity or business associate, please contact us at privacy@attorneychiro.com to execute a BAA before transmitting any PHI.
We share information only in the following circumstances:
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Case and referral records are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with medical records requirements, unless a shorter period is required by applicable law or requested by you in writing.
Upon account deletion, non-PHI data is deleted within 90 days. PHI retention follows the terms of your BAA.
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, AES-256 encryption at rest, role-based access control, audit logging, and periodic penetration testing. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and receive a portable copy of your data. To exercise these rights, email privacy@attorneychiro.com.
For patient rights under HIPAA (access, amendment, accounting of disclosures), please contact the covered entity (attorney firm or clinic) directly, as they are responsible for the underlying PHI.
We use strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
AttorneyChiro is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users via email for material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
